Cory has 15 years of innovative, multi-industry experience in human resources and change management strategy, consulting, and leadership. She is known for her strength in presenting, educating, facilitating and coaching. She has led many significant change initiatives in organizations and truly understands the integral role people play in a company’s success. Cory has worked in a senior Human Resources capacity with a broad range of companies in various industries including Imperial Oil, The Body Shop, Warner-Lambert, Zurich Canada and ING Insurance.
As a former Vice President of Human Resources, Cory understands the critical role search firms play when partnered with the client. She believes that successful firms act as an extension of the company they represent, ensuring that the company’s image and reputation are well presented to potential candidates. Cory knows how important it is for the firm to identify the best talent for both immediate position and long-term development. Her experience as a leader in Human Resources and her background in developing talent has given Cory a practical sense and intuitive understanding for identifying talent and fit.
Cory is a strong communicator, energetic and dynamic and uses her ability to understand the client’s requirements to match the right candidate. She realizes it is only a successful match when both the client and the candidate are pleased with the outcome.
Cory graduated from the University of Alberta with degrees in Business Administration and Education. Her passion has always been to broaden her understanding of human nature and what makes people who they are.
Cory has a young family with whom she spends her free time. She is an avid tennis player and also loves the creative aspect of home renovation and design and is always looking for a new project. She recently completed a diploma program in Interior Design
Tracey joined E.L. Shore & Associates in 2007, after a 25-year career in industry including retail, advertising and manufacturing. She was most recently a Senior Human Resources Executive at Canadian Tire Corporation, where she worked for the past 10 years. She functioned as a Strategic Consultant and Program Delivery Leader for Executives in Marketing, Supply Chain Operations, Information Technology, and Finance.
She brings seasoned insight, clarity, balance, and integrity to her work as an executive recruiter. She combines empathetic listening skills, with an ability to vet things out. She is results-oriented and gets things done quickly and efficiently. Tracey is client-focused and highly responsive.

Tracey offers professional expertise as an Executive Coach, which adds value to the executive search process. This skill set enables her to crystallize client and candidate needs and capabilities related to the balancing of performance, learning, and personal fulfillment. She shrewdly assesses fit between candidate and client along these three critical sets of variables.
Tracey graduated from York University with a BA in Psychology, and from The University of Toronto with a Masters Degree in Industrial Relations. She is a trained Professional Coach through the Adler School of Professional Coaching.
Tracey is an active kayaker, golfer, and runner. She is a fan of the theatre and opera. She also does volunteer coaching in the not-for-profit sector.
